A perfect spicy soup recipe for cold Autumn evenings!
Spicy Lentil Soup, 6 portions
2 tbsp coconut oil
3 garlic cloves
2 tsp curcuma powder
1 tsp ginger powder
1.5-2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp chili
800g tomato paste
1.1 L water
3 dl lentils
2 tbsp (for example sesame) protein powder (you can use any that doesn’t have a strong taste)
4 dl coconut cream or regular cream
Rinse lentils carefully with cold water. Cut the onion and garlic and mix them with the spices and oil in a pot. Fry but don’t let them get brown. Add water and tomato paste. Let boil for a few minutes and then add lentils. Let the soup boil for 30 minutes and add the cream. Let it sit for 10 minutes before eating.
